Downright TOASTY summer weekend on the way
Good bit of cloud cover has kept us from getting too terribly toasty early this afternoon, but we’re aiming for highs in the mid 90s today and all the way through the weekend, with heat index soaring to about 105 or so all the way through that time frame. Still, not a bad summer evening as we kick off the weekend, with a healthy south breeze and some shade, things are looking pretty good!
Small rain chance returns Sunday as high pressure moves away from the Brazos Valley a bit, but that shouldn’t amount to more than 20% coverage from Sunday through about Tuesday. May find some slightly better coverage into late next week, then eyes are on the Gulf of Mexico for some potential development. Details are very hairy at the moment but we should get a clearer picture on what impacts (if any) this potential system would have on our area. If so, we would be looking in the Fathers Day Weekend to just beyond time frame. Have a great weekend!
