COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station police say they’re still searching for a man who led law enforcement officers from multiple agencies on a high-speed pursuit Saturday from Grimes County to a College Station neighborhood.

Officials say they tried to stop Matthew Jarrett, 33, of College Station after he allegedly flashed a handgun while driving a stolen vehicle Saturday evening in Grimes County. Deputies say Jarrett refused to stop and led law enforcement on a pursuit that exceeded speeds of 100 miles per hour along Highway 6 into Brazos County.

The chase ended in College Station in the Edelweiss neighborhood near Graham Road and Brandenburg Lane.

Police say he evaded capture and if anyone knows where he is to call 979-764-3600.

Jarrett is believed to be armed and dangerous, said police.
