Bryan police identify victim of Lake Bryan drowning

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan police have identified the victim of a drowning that occurred at Lake Bryan.

Santos Barrera-Menchu, 32, of Bryan was reported missing around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday. Police received a report that a person had gone underwater while swimming at the lake and had not come back up.

The Bryan Fire Department and Texas Game Wardens also responded to help look for the missing person. Police say the victim’s body was found just before 8 p.m.
