HEARNE, Texas (KBTX) - One person died and three people are in the hospital after a crash on OSR at Old Spanish Trail happened Wednesday afternoon.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said around 1:06 p.m., a 2017 Toyota passenger car was traveling southwest and a 2007 Dodge passenger car was traveling northeast. The Toyota was attempting to turn onto Old Spanish Trail from OSR and didn’t yield the right of way to the Dodge, according to DPS.

Marijane Deen, 76, of Bryan, the driver of the Toyota was taken to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Dodge, Michael Vickery, 56, of Beeville was also taken to St. Joseph Regional Hospital. There were two passengers in the Dodge, Susan Vickery, 77, of Beeville who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and Willie Vickery, 78, of Beeville who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
