Beautiful fall weekend ahead!
After a cold front pushed through the Brazos Valley Friday, cooler and drier air filtering in will make for a beautiful fall weekend ahead! A chilly morning is in store with morning lows in the mid 50s early Saturday. Plenty of sun (with some high clouds filtering through) looks to be the story for the first half of the weekend with daytime highs only in the mid 70s! Keep the Halloween decorations secured as a north wind will continue to blow past with wind gusts upwards of 25 mph+.
Winds die down for the second half of the weekend with an even chillier morning in the forecast early Sunday. Most areas look to wake up to the 40s ahead of a few more clouds and afternoon highs still in the mid 70s. With high pressure and drier air in place, comfortable weather sticks with us through the first half of the upcoming week. We’ll warm things up a touch (closer to seasonable) by midweek, before another cold front slides through around Thursday or Friday of next week.
