Crash causes shutdown, second crash on southbound Highway 6 during morning rush

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station police say just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, a call came in for a crash on Highway 6 southbound near Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

An officer on scene said one driver suffered from inattention and spun into another vehicle. While others vehicles were trying to avoid that crash, several ended up in the ditch, and two ran into each other.

CSPD says there were no major injuries reported from either crash.

The road is back open as of 8:30 a.m.
