BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Texas A&M football team will close out the 2021 season on December 31 against Wake Forest in the Gator Bowl at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The Aggies are ranked number 25. The Demon Deacons are number 17 after a 10-3 season.

There were some big moments during the Aggies 8-4 campaign. KBTX Sports is counting down the top 10 moments sponsored by WRI Tractors.

10. Isaiah Spiller’s 67-yard touchdown run against Arkansas to make it a one-score game.

9. Zach Calzada touchdown pass to Jalen Preston to put the Aggies up 24-20 against LSU in the 4th quarter.

8. Both Freshmen Demond Demas and Moose Muhammad III caught their first career touchdowns against New Mexico. Demas had a 70-yard score, and Muhammad made a remarkable one-handed grab in the endzone.

7. Against South Carolina, Ainias Smith returned a punt 95 yards to kickoff the scoring in a 44-14 win over the Gamecocks.

6. Against Auburn, Jayden Peevy will knock the ball loose from Bo Nix on a sack and Michael Clemons will scoop up the loose ball and score as the Aggies beat 12th ranked Auburn 20 to 3.

4. Zach Calzada will drive the Aggies 93 yards with under 5 minutes to go. It is capped off by a 25-yard touchdown pass to Ainias Smith tying the game at 38 against Alabama.

3. Following a blocked punt for a touchdown by Alabama, Devon Achane returns the ensuing kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown as Texas A&M extends its lead over the Crimson Tide to 31-17 and eventually beat No. 1 Alabama 41-38.

2. Against Prairie View A&M Aggie linebacker Antonio Johnson blitz Panther quarterback Jawon Pass and knocks the ball loose. Aaron Hansford is there for the fumble recovery and returns it for a touchdown. Texas A&M scores the first 45 points in the game and cruises to a 52-3 win.

1. With just over 2 minutes to play against Alabama, Zach Calzada drives the Aggies 54 yards setting up a 28-yard field goal attempt by Seth Small for a 41-38 win over top-ranked Alabama.
