Motorcycle crash closes University Dr. Wednesday night

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station Police say a motorcyclist crashed Wednesday night on University Dr. near Tarrow St. Police said the motorcyclist was driving eastbound on University when they struck the center median, lost control, and was ejected from the motorcycle. Police said witnesses told them the driver was then run over by another vehicle.

Authorities say the motorcyclist is in stable condition at a local hospital.

University Dr. was closed in both directions as police conducted their investigation. It has since reopened.
