The shooting occurred near 3rd Floor and although the incident happened outside and after the business had already closed for the night, the bar’s owner tells News 3′s Rusty Surette extra security measures will be put into place moving forward.

“We are attempting to be proactive and keep horrible things like this from happening,” said Patrick Tristan. “This shooting did not happen inside the 3rd Floor but I have already spoken to the police, reached out to TABC and we will be installing cameras outside, as well as getting a Constable on duty on nights we anticipate to be busy.”

Tristan, who said the shooting happened after they already closed and the doors were locked, went on to say that some of the men involved in the shooting Sunday had been previously banned from being inside the bar and were never allowed inside last night.
