Former Texas A&M pitcher Brandyn Garcia was named the Jamie Moyer Co-Pitcher of the Year, which honors the top arm in the Seattle Mariners minor league system.

Garcia went 6–2 with a 2.25 ERA (29 ER, 116.0 IP) with 47 walks and 134 strikeouts in 27 games (25 starts) between High-A Everett (14 G, 12 GS) and Double-A Arkansas (13 GS) in 2024. The left-hander allowed 3-or-fewer runs in 25 of his 27 games, allowing 2-or-fewer in 23 of 27.

Through two professional seasons, Garcia has registered a 6-3 record and a 2.21 ERA in 36 appearances.

The left-hander played one season for the Maroon & White in 2023, logging 27 appearances in relief. In 43.1 innings of work, Garcia struck out 56 batters for the Aggies. Following the 2023 campaign, Garcia was selected by the Mariners with the 337th pick in the 11th round of the MLB Draft.
