PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - College Station jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and didn’t look back in a 58-14 victory over Hendrickson at The Pfield.

College Station struck first, two minutes into the game, when Wilson Stapp called his own number from four yards out and pushed his way into the end zone.

Later in the first, Cade Corcoran connected with Jackson Verdugo on the 10-yard touchdown pass, making it 14-0 in favor of the Cougars.

Ayden Martinez made it a three-score lead for College Station, taking first and 15 handoff 69-yards for a touchdown. The ensuing point after was no good.

The explosive plays continued in the second when Corcoran launched a pass to Zack Cosser for a 51-yard score, complete with a strut into the end zone.

Hendrickson managed 14 points, but couldn’t match offensive firepower with College Station.

The Cougars (5-1) return home next week to host Cedar Creek. College Station will honor 51 seniors at homecoming Friday.
