Bush Library & Museum preparing for busy February
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX)— This segment on The Three was paid for and sponsored by George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum.
The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum is planning another Barbara Bush storytime and a special Presidents Day event for February.
On Feb. 8, Barbara Bush Storytime will be highlighting Valentine’s Day, Black History Month and Presidents Day.
Starting at 10 a.m. families can enjoy themed crafts and hear a reading of “Bagel in Love” by Natasha Wing, “Mae Among the Stars” by Roda Ahmed, and “Duck for President” by Doreen Cronin.
On Feb. 13 at 5:30 p.m. Navy veteran Robert Roncska, also known as “Navy Bob,” will be speaking about his career in the Navy and his friendship with the Bush Family.
There will be a reception following the speech at 6:30 p.m.
Roncska will also have autographed copies of his book for sale.
