From Bach to Tchaikovsky with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Kick off the new season with a concert celebrating pieces from Bach to Brahms to Tchaikovsky with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.

Executive Director Renee Knox said this is her first season with the symphony so she’s hoping she can expand their reach to every member of the community.

“We really need as much culture as possible, and we hope to expand that reach with all of our community, children and seniors and everybody,” Knox said.

The show will kick off with a reception at 3:30 p.m. for their endowment donors, which Knox said are very special to the symphony’s goals. The concert will then start at 5 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m.

The next show will be their Halloween concert, which will feature lots of spooky fun. Concertgoers are encouraged to come in full costume as well.
