Police officer accused of providing sperm to a minor he met on ‘Just A Baby’ app, authorities say

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE/Gray News) - A police officer in New Orleans is accused of providing a minor with his sperm in hopes of getting her pregnant.

Clarence Lee Evans, 45, was arrested Nov. 12 on two felony counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one felony count of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

Evans allegedly met the girl on an app called Just A Baby, which connects sperm donors, egg donors and surrogates for the purpose of conceiving a child.

During those meetings, Evans brought the minor to hotels where he provided her with his semen, which was manually inserted into the juvenile for the purpose of conceiving a child, according to investigators.

At this stage of the investigation, authorities said it does not appear Evans and the minor engaged in sexual intercourse.

The investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.
