Man dies after getting trapped in conveyor belt at work

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (Gray News) - A man was killed after getting trapped in a conveyor belt at work on Friday.

The Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said crews responded to a report of an industrial accident in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Officials said the man got trapped under the hopper arm of a conveyor belt while trying to address an issue with a large production machine.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not been released, according to NBC Miami.
