Minor dead, 3 others ‘severely’ injured after crash involving ATV, troopers say

FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT/Gray News) - Tennessee authorities are investigating after a juvenile died and three others were seriously injured in a crash Thursday evening.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the collision involved an all-terrain vehicle that was traveling with four juveniles in Fentress County without its headlights or taillights on.

Troopers said the crash occurred when a Chevrolet Blazer collided into the back of the ATV and came to a stop near the intersection of George Young Road.

One juvenile died from their injuries, while the other three on the ATV were “severely” injured.

Tennessee authorities said the driver of the SUV was not injured and was not facing charges.
