KBTX Game Ball: A&M Consolidated Tigers

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The A&M Consolidated Tigers are the Week 10 recipients of the KBTX Sports Sunday Game Ball, sponsored by Central Texas Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

The Tigers pulled off a 45-42 win over Killeen at Leo Buckley Stadium to clinch a playoff spot.

Consol lost a 10-point lead in the third quarter before the Tigers’ defense sparked a comeback, starting with a blocked punt in the fourth quarter.

Senior running back Chunky Mooring led the offense with three rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown. Mooring finished with 163 yards on 28 carries, recording his first 100-yard rushing performance since early September.

With the victory, Consol moves to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in district play. The Tigers conclude the regular season Friday at 7 p.m. when they host Hendrickson.
