A number of crashes in the past year have involved school buses in the Brazos Valley. While these crashes have been relatively minor, with mild if any injuries, the incidents do highlight the need for proper training of school bus drivers.
The Brazos County Sheriff's Office says their policy allows them to serve no-knock search warrants, but only in extreme cases like hostage and rescue situations or if a homicide suspect is inside and poses a threat.
The city is still seeking input on the plan for an area south of downtown to the College Station border.
