Drew Davis has had one goal his entire life: to become a broadcast meteorologist. At KBTX, he is actively living that dream.
He grew up in the DFW Metroplex with an interest in severe weather. Alongside staring up at the sky, Drew was involved in anything performance-related. He always enjoyed being in front of others, whether that was being on stage with the theater department, making short films with friends, or making others laugh through improvisational comedy,
With Broadcast Meteorology, his two passions are combined.
Drew is currently a senior meteorology major at Texas A&M and plans to graduate in May of 2023. He serves as the coordinator for the Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting team and the President of the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Alongside his meteorological duties, he is also a permanent member of Texas A&M's improvisational comedy troupe: "Freudian Slip."
In his free time, he enjoys movie-going, video-editing, hiking, and stand-up comedy. If you see him around Brazos Valley, give him a "Howdy!"
