Hope was born and raised in Midland, Texas, and knew she wanted to work in broadcasting from a very young age. She attended Texas A&M University where she earned her degree in Communications with a minor in New Media Art.

During her sophomore year, Hope's dream started to come to life when she was hired onto staff with Texas A&M's 12th Man Productions. Throughout her two and a half years at 12th Man Productions, she worked as a student reporter/in-game host, team videographer, video editor, and social media producer. Hope worked with ESPN to help produce broadcasts where her work was showcased on ESPN+, SEC Network, and multiple Texas A&M social media accounts. Hope says the most memorable moment of her time at 12th Man Productions came when she was down on the field, in the end zone, for the 7OT Texas A&M vs. LSU football game in 2018.

Hope also interned with a local television station in her hometown where she shadowed, reported, edited videos, and learned the fundamentals of being a news reporter. She also interned with the PGA TOUR, where she performed research on how the PGA TOUR's television, digital, and social media channels performed. On top of this, she also hosted a PGA TOUR digital show called The Takeaway. She also attended NFL Reporter Laura Okmin’s GALvanize boot camps. She traveled to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Buffalo Bills' training camps to tell the stories of their rookie classes.

Hope enjoys going to sporting events, being with friends and family, exercising, and playing golf. She always wanted to attend Texas A&M and feels very blessed that she was able to graduate from such a great school. Although she has lived in College Station for the last four years, she is still trying to learn all the ins and outs of the great community and can't wait to learn more and more every day.

She is ecstatic to join the KBTX family and looks forward to getting to know everyone in the area. Hope loves meeting people and sharing their stories. She hopes that you'll stop and say hi if you ever see her around the Brazos Valley. Feel free to connect on Facebook and Twitter, and don't be shy!
