KBTX Media is growing and is in search of a high-energy person with professional appearance to enter into a sales training program as Sales Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and be eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced atmosphere. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Initial responsibilities include high phone traffic, greeting incoming guests and clerical support. The sales assistant will also support our sales staff in the following areas: Client / Agency follow-up • Order & Traffic Entry • Collections • Preparing reports and presentations • Light Production Duties, and any other tasks designed to help advance your media sales career.
Sales experience is not required; however, the drive to become a member of one of the top-selling sales teams in town is instrumental. Applicant should enjoy working in a team atmosphere with an excellent opportunity to learn station operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree Preferred.
