Police make arrest in College Station shooting

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - Police say they have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with a shooting that happened near the Lincoln Center in College Station Sunday.

The teen is facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

According to police, another teenage boy was shot in the stomach. They say the shooting happened around 2:00 p.m. in the area between the Lincoln Center and the Southgate Villiage Apartments.

The boy was transported to a local hospital. Police say he is in stable condition.

During the course of the investigation, police were seen questioning people on-scene for information into the shooting.

Shortly after the investigation began police also arrested a man they say was causing a disturbance during the investigation.
