1st Kroger convenience store in Texas opens in College Station

Grabbing a coffee on the go is normal to find at a convenience store, but what about a convenience store with grocery store prices?

The very first Kroger convenience store in Texas is now open in College Station! It just may be the convenience and grocery store mashup of your dreams!

The store is located at 3998 Highway 6 in College Station.The best exit to take off of Highway 6 is Rock Prairie.

This location features 16 gasoline pumps and many of the convenience items you would expect, but you can also pick up staple grocery items, and you won't have to worry about the typical convenience store prices.

"The best thing about this location is the grocery store prices. You can use your Kroger plus card. You can get the same prices that you can find in your local grocery store, your local Kroger store, and you can use your coupons here," said Clara Campbell of Kroger.

This particular location is also running a special on gasoline! Between now and July 4th, that Kroger location is offering twenty cents off each gallon of gas with a Kroger card!
