Chief Meteorologist Shel Winkley is breaking down the factors that could affect the next couple months of hurricane season.

Winkley says the dust that has blown through our area from the Sahara has dried out the air, calming the tropics temporarily. Furthermore, El Nino could have an impact on how mild this season will be from here on out.
