COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX A&M Consolidated choir invited all third through fifth graders out to a night of fun.

Friday night more than 40 kids attended Jingle Jam, an event held by the school's choir.

The kids enjoyed pizza, crafts dancing and fun. They also got the chance to brush up on their singing skills. They along with the choir to a few Christmas carols.

Grace Moore is the senior choir president and she hopes the Jingle Jam event encourages kids to sing more.

“This will hopefully just help the kids realize that choir’s such a fun thing to be a part of. I don’t think there’s really anything like this to show them what choir actually is, so this is a cool event that we can do that helps promote it,” said Moore.

All kids who attended have the opportunity to sing along with the AMCHS choir at their holiday concert December 13.
