Texas A&M Student heads to Big Brother house

In trending news this morning, an Aggie heads to the Big Brother house, James Corden gets theatrical across the pond, and an elephant that once belonged to the King of Pop escapes his new home.

First up, CBS announced the 16 new house guests that will shack up together on Big Brother this summer. Among them was Texas A&M student Haleigh Broucher.

Broucher will be the third Aggie to live in the Big Brother house. She follows Aggies Clay Honeycutt from season 17 and Corey Brooks from season 18. You can see Haleigh in the Big Brother house when the new season premieres June 27th on KBTX.

Also trending, James Corden is taking his show across the pond to London this week.

Monday on The Late Late Show, Corden performed a Crosswalk the Musical showcasing some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most memorable compositions, including "Evita," "Cats" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Actor Josh Gad even made a surprise appearance as Christine in "Phantom of the Opera." The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weekday nights on KBTX.

Lastly, an African elephant that once lived on Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch made a not-so smooth criminal escape. Ali the elephant got out of his enclosure at a Florida zoo on Sunday.

Zoo officials said the incident was a result of human error. The elephant was able to be brought back to his pen with only verbal commands and hay.

Ali came to the zoo in 19-97 from Jackson's Neverland Ranch. He is estimated to be 28 years old and is an extremely good-natured bull elephant.
