On Thursday, a new mural was unveiled at the Brazos County Administration Building.
The mural was made by participants in A.R.T. for Life along with local artist Le Hale.
A.R.T. for Life is a hands-on, artist-mentored youth program that provides individuals in juvenile detention, or on probation, with a foundation for making better life choices.
"Have the kids learn some teamwork skills, to learn how to take feedback and criticism in a positive way, and really to express themselves in a creative and healthy way," said Amy Salvaggio, the interim director for the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley.
The artists had to make a mural with a judiciary theme. The mural will hang in the atrium of the Brazos Valley Administration Building.
