Crews working on power outage north of Kurten

People north of Kurten are without electricity Wednesday after a vehicle ran into a power line.
The impact took down both the pole as well as part of the line.
According to Bryan Texas Utilities, 53 homes are without power and may continue to be for a few more hours.
BTU says they sent out all standby crews in an effort to get power lines running again.
