BRAZOS COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) - The Brazos Valley housing market is looking up for both buyers and sellers in 2019.
Amy DuBose from BCS Association of Realtors stopped by Brazos Valley This Morning to discuss this year's housing trends.
DuBose credits a booming job market with Texas A&M University and other new businesses with bringing more people to the area and contributing to a healthy marketplace.
The previously over-saturated rental market is expected to level out as students and parents purchase those properties for personal use and investment.
The biggest need in our market is for moderately-priced housing, DuBose says, but there are several projects over the next 18 months expected to fill that demand.
Overall, 2019 is projected to be a great year in all aspects of the local housing market.
