COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- The Brazos County A&M Club’s annual Muster was held at the Memorial Student Center on A&M’s campus Sunday evening.
Hundreds gathered for a night of dinner, drinks, and the annual Muster-call to honor the Aggies who have passed away in the last year.
Co-Chair of the Brazos County A&M Club Muster event, Bob Palmarez says he enjoys being a part of the tradition year after year.
"We have always felt that Muster is probably one of the most cherished and important events and traditions that A&M has had for years. Because it gives us the opportunity to remember those fellow Aggies and influential people in the community,” says Palmarez
Palmarez graduated from Texas A&M in 1973 and says the annual Muster is a very moving experience for him.
The Brazos County A&M Club says over 700 people showed up to the event Sunday to honor the 150 names that were called.
