Bryan ISD launches cooking series

Bryan ISD has launched a new cooking series called One Student, One Recipe.

The district is filming one episode every month, switching between Bryan High and Rudder High Schools to highlight the schools' culinary programs.

The first episode featured a Thanksgiving side dish made at Rudder. You can watch it at the link with this story.

The upcoming episode will feature Bryan senior Michael Sexton and his recipe for a sweet potato pineapple casserole.

Bryan ISD's Darrell Taylor says the goal is for people to pick up on the series and try to make some of the recipes the students demonstrated at home.

The next episode is set to film at Rudder in January.

The district says they plan to keep the series going throughout the school year.
