Bryan PD needs your home surveillance video to catch vehicle burglars

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - In the first seven days of February, Bryan police said there have been 23 vehicle burglaries. Officers are asking residents with home security cameras to give police a copy of any video showing potential burglars.

"Even if it's something as seemingly innocuous as a stranger walking through your yard or trying the door handles on your neighbor's car, it can help us piece the evidence together," said Sgt. Jason James.

You can submit your video in person (usually from a flash drive) at the Bryan Police Department at 303 E 29th St, Bryan, or call the station at (979) 209-5300 and someone can come pick up the footage from you.

In the meantime, James asks that residents continue to lock their car doors and not leave any valuables inside.
