BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) An update to a story we first broke on our KBTX Facebook page Friday afternoon.

Bryan Police report a man who crashed into a school fence was driving drunk Friday.

The accident happened on Boonville Road in front of Allen Academy. A Hyundai Accent crashed into the school's fence.

Police said 66-year-old Joseph McBride of Pasadena told them he had three beers and reportedly said, "I'm guilty," in court documents.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment for the crash and police said they found multiple empty beer cans inside the car.

He remains in the Brazos County Jail Saturday afternoon on $3,355 bond.
