A Bryan man was arrested early Tuesday morning for breaking into an ATM at BBVA Compass Bank.
Police say they were called out to an alarm at the bank on Briarcrest around 4:00 a.m. They heard loud banging from the ATM in a small building near the bank.
Officers found 32-year-old Keith Richards Jr. walking out of that building.
He was taken into custody after a short chase. Officers say Richards broke into the building by pushing the A/C unit and climbing inside.
He's charged with attempted theft from an ATM, burglary, evading arrest, and criminal mischief.
