BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX)- A local man has been sentenced for exposing himself to two children on separate occasions, KBTX has confirmed.
Adrian Ayala, 44, of Bryan pleaded guilty to the charges and on Monday he was sentenced to 5 years probation and must register as a sex offender, according to the Brazos County District Attorney's Office. He's also ordered to serve 30 days in jail as a condition of his probation.
The survivors, who were 13 and 7 when it happened, were fully in agreement with the plea deal, a District Attorney spokesperson confirmed.
It took the first survivor who reported it a couple of years of counseling before she was comfortable enough to give details to investigators.
The exposures happened in September 1999 and June 2012, according to probable cause statements.
Ayala was arrested in July 2015.
