Bryan resident claims $1 million scratch ticket prize

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX)- A Bryan resident has claimed a top prizewinning scratch-off ticket worth $1-million in Texas Lottery ticket game 'Stacks of Cash.'

The ticket was purchased at Sunny's Food and Fuel Mart Inc., located at 3500 E. 29th Street near Bryan High School.

The winner has elected to remain anonymous, officials tell KBTX.

An employee at the store says the winner purchased the ticket on Monday.

"He bought three tickets. He didn't win, but then he purchased a fourth ticket, and that's when he won the million dollars," said the store employee.

This was the eighth of 15 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. Stacks of Cash offers more than $100 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.37, including break-even prizes.
