CSPD investigating pair of dog bites

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- College Station police are investigating a pair of dog bites that occurred Monday in separate locations.

The first happened in the 8400 block of Whiterose Court. The victim was bitten while attempting to stop two dogs from fighting in the street.

The second incident occurred on Creek Meadow Blvd. North near Beaver Creek Drive.

A woman walking on a sidewalk said a dog on a leash approached her and bit her.

The dog owner tried to move from the sidewalk to the street, but the dog was too strong for the owner to handle. The dog pulled the owner back onto the sidewalk, where the dog made contact with the victim. As the victim was passing by the dog, she stopped and placed her hands by the side of her body so the dog could smell her, but the dog suddenly lunged at her and bit her.

Police are attempting to locate both dogs and their owners. If you know anything about this please call (979)764-3600.
