Capital Murder Suspect Gabriel Hall Falls Asleep In Court

A former A&M Consolidated student charged with capital murder fell asleep in court Tuesday during a status hearing.

Hall is accused of killing retired Texas A&M professor Edwin Shaar and stabbing Shaar's wife Linda in October 2011.

During Tuesday's hearing, attorneys discussed what questions that will be included in the jury survey. They also talked about hiring an interpreter for the trial which is scheduled for August. Hall is from the Philippines.

Hall’s case is currently scheduled for trial in August.
