BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - If you are in the mood for mudbugs some local restaurants are back serving a seasonal favorite.
Crawfish season started a few weeks ago. Shipwreck Grill in Bryan is back serving them.
A fresh batch of the shellfish just came in from Louisiana. The restaurant will be serving them Thursday night after a recent break. Prices are higher this year due to the weather.
"Every season has its challenges weather wise and what affects the crawfish. This year, particular year it's been the lack of sun, not so much the rain is lack of sun. So, they are as high as they've ever been," said Wade Beckman, owner of Shipwreck Grill.
The restaurant suggests giving them a call to find out if they are still serving in the coming days.
