Deadly wreck near Madisonville on Interstate 45

A man is dead after a wreck early this morning on Interstate 45.
It happened about 10 miles north of Madisonville, near the OSR exit.
According to DPS Trooper Jimmy Morgan, the driver of an 18-wheeler driving south on I-45 somehow left the road and hit a cable barrier in the median.
The driver tried to steer back onto the road, but a piece of large equipment from his tractor trailer fell into lanes of traffic.
59-year-old Marcus Harrison from Buffalo hit that object, DPS says he was killed on impact.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
