DPS releases names of 3 killed in fiery crash on Highway 105

DPS Troopers have just released the names of the deceased in this morning's accident:
Driver of 2001 Dodge pick-up , Keaton Anthony Bussell, age 18 from Montgomery
Driver of the 2013 Chevrolet van, Richard Michael Thomas, age 55 from College Station
Passenger of the 2013 Chevrolet van, Jessie Conzalo Gallegos, age 36 from Bryan
No other updates were released on the 6 van passengers who were also injured.
Three people are dead and six are injured following a deadly crash on Highway 105 East, east of Navasota, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 105 East near County Road 362 at Grass Creek. A DPS preliminary investigation shows that a pickup heading west on Highway 105 crossed into the eastbound lane, in a no-passing zone, and hit a van head-on.
A second pickup sustained minor damage in the crash.
The first pickup caught fire following the collision. The Navasota Fire Department responded to put out the flames.
The driver of the first pickup and the driver of the van, along with a passenger in the van, were pronounced dead on the scene.
A passenger in the van was air-lifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston and is in critical condition. The remaining five passengers were injured; three were transported by ambulance to CHI St. Joseph Health Hospital in Bryan and two were transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station.
Traffic heading east on Highway 105 was diverted onto County Road 362 as DPS troopers investigated.
Drivers attempting to get onto Highway 105 from Highway 6 were also diverted.
