Don't fall for the iCloud phone scam! Here's what you need to know

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- Some area residents have reported receiving phone calls from scammers asking for personal iCloud log-in information.

This kind of scam has been around for years, but it's being reported more in our area, according to one local business owner.

"We're hearing from people who have received this call, and the best thing you should do is hang up. Never ever give out your log-in ID or password to these people," said Zachary Morgan of Sour Apple Repair.

The scammers are using local phone numbers when making the cold-calls and they're claiming the account for iCloud, Apple's cloud service, has been hacked.
