Erie snow breaks records, but not spirits

In trending news this morning, Pennsylvania residents have a bit of fun with record snow fall, Snapchat released a new feature for looking back at your year, and a skyscraper in Paris has trampolines on the roof.

First up, the area around Lake Erie in Pennsylvania is seeing record breaking snowfall. But it's not breaking people's spirits! Videos are going viral of residents diving, kayaking, and chilling out in the snow.

The three-day "lake effect" snowstorm dumped more than 65 inches on Erie over the Christmas weekend and broke four different state snowfall records, including one that stood for 91 years.

Also trending, Snapchat is giving you a *new* way to look back on your year. The new feature is called "20-17 Story". Users can open "memories" at the bottom of your Snapchat screen and if you have enough photos and videos saved from the year, you can create your "year in review" and share it with your friends.

Lastly, four trampolines were set up on Paris's highest skyscraper, offering stunning views of the French capital while jumping atop the almost 700-foot-high building.

Open to big and small, access to the trampolines is included in the entry price to the Montparnasse Tower Panoramic Observation Deck with tickets costing between 9.50-15 euros (less than 20 bucks here). Other activities are planned for 2018, including the return of an artificial ice rink in February.
