BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - There's a new spot in town to enjoy farm to table food. Ronin Restaurant is officially opening on Saturday, May 19th and is already taking reservations for the weekend of May 25th and beyond.

The Downtown Bryan spot sources their ingredients from farms across Texas and from their own Ronin Farm in Bryan.

Fresh food means Chef Brian Light is constantly changing the menu.

"Brian is constantly learning and evolving in the back of the house and we have a great team back there as well. The menu will be ever-evolving and ever-changing. You will never be bored here," explained Amanda Light, who owns Ronin Farm and Restaurant with her husband Brian.

The May 19th grand opening party is sold out. They will be open on Friday and Saturday for dinner only and then will expand their operating hours. They will serve the first Sunday brunch on Father's Day, June 17th.

Ronin Restaurant's summer 2018 operating hours are as follows:

Dinner (5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
May 25th & 26th
June 1st & 2nd
June 7th, 8th, 9th
June 14th, 15th, 16th

Brunch (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
Every Sunday beginning on June 17th

Their plan is that by fall of 2018 they will be serving lunch and dinner five days a week. They will also continue their well known Full Moon Dinners in the fall.
