The community is coming together on Wednesday, August 8 for the Brazos Valley Food Bank's Annual Feast of Caring. The event gives local residents the chance to give back to the community while also providing a meal to those in need.
The Feast of Caring features an open lunch of rice, beans, sausage, salad and dessert, served by celebrity servers. Visitors are asked to donate the amount of money they would normally spend on a meal. However, those who can't afford to donate can still come out and enjoy the food.
The lunch will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m at the Brazos Center. For more information, visit bvfb.org.
