A few months ago, a mom in San Antonio with local ties lost her teenage daughter in a texting and driving crash.
Emily Zaltsman, 13, died after a driver rear-ended the car that she was in last year.
Now, Emily's mother Karin is turning her pain into action by helping promote the Safe2Save safe driving app, which was developed by College Station woman Marci Corry.
Corry and Leslie Oliver with Safeway Driving joined First News at Four to discuss Karin's story and why their products matter so much. See the video player above for the full conversation.
