BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Another -- and the last -- round of patchy fog is expected for parts of the Brazos Valley Tuesday.
A stalled front sits just north of the area Monday night. That front separates humid, Gulf air from drier air located at I-35 to the Metroplex and points to the west.
Not much movement with the boundary overnight, meaning the Brazos Valley has another chance to start the day with areas of fog -- some of which could be dense at times. At the least, low / overcast skies are expected throughout the area.
While foggy, visibility above 1/2 mile may not be an issue for many across the area. There will likely be pockets of the Brazos Valley -- especially for those that have just recently dried up flooding from the last rain event -- that could find visibility reduced between 1/2 mile and near zero between 5am and 8am.
A early morning west wind turns around out of the north before the noon hour. Drier air slips in, eating away at the fog, allowing sunshine to return for part of the day Tuesday.
