HUNTSVILLE, Tex. (KBTX) - A former Huntsville High School teacher's assistant and assistant football coach is going to prison for having improper relationships with two students.

29-year-old Darius Hopkins was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to having improper relationships with 17-year-old and 14-year-old students.

The Walker County District Attorney's Office says Hopkins sent sexually related text messages to the 17-year-old and a naked video of himself to the other.

He resigned from HISD in February 2015.
