Franklin ISD to hold classes Tuesday

FRANKLIN, Tex. (KBTX) - Franklin ISD says it plans on having school on Tuesday now that power is being restored.

According to Franklin ISD, the high school and middle school have electrical power now.

Officials there say they expect to have power at the elementary school by Monday evening. Ozarka water has been brought in for cooking and drinking.

FISD is, therefore, planning on having school on Tuesday. All buses will run on a normal schedule.

Notification of any changes will go out through the school's normal communication channels for school closure.

If your family has been directly affected by the storm, you are asked to inform your campus administration and FISD will excuse your child if necessary.
