BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - The Storm Prediction Center continues to monitor the potential for a multi-day severe weather event across the Central and Southern Plains.

Two big upper lows are expected to move out of the Pacific and into the Plains. Starting Friday, anywhere from West Texas to South Dakota, rounds of severe weather are expected to become active. Each day through Tuesday brings a fresh chance for more rocky weather across different parts of the country.

Saturday is being monitored here in the Brazos Valley. Storms are expected to be ongoing in parts of North and Central Texas through the morning and early afternoon hours. A line of activity is anticipated to move into the area between late afternoon to the evening. Current concern as this next round of noticeable weather arrives will be damaging wind and localized flood threat.

More details and what we know as of Wednesday evening is included in the video above.
